I am an experienced business strategist, currently working as Head of Strategy and Business Development for a hedge fund. Prior to that, I led sales and advisory functions within various global investment banks. Previously, I spent a decade as a successful trader for some of the largest hedge funds in the world.

I have an intuitive understanding of people – their motives and their drivers.  During my career as a trader, it was imperative to constantly make important decisions quickly and manoeuvre my actions in a fast-paced and demanding environment.  I have developed a formula to decipher complex situations quickly – by constructing ‘decision trees’ and analyzing the myriad of secondary and tertiary implications using an AIM framework.

Analyze – remove personal/ emotional bias and examine the positioning of the relevant factors

Interpret – what are the drivers, motives and reasoning behind people’s actions

Manoeuvre – position yourself to influence your stakeholders and optimize your outcome
